Joy in His Presence

Wonderful reminder that His Presence is ALWAYS with us when we feel it AND when we DON’T feel it. It’s our awareness of Him with us that can bring us joy even in dark times. Seek His Presence. Seek His face. Find joy!

“If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.” Psalm 139:11-12

The darkness of hardships can make us feel that the light (God’s presence and joy) around us will be snuffed out by the darkness- that we will succumb to it: alone, forsaken and depressed. But the truth is that the light OVERCOMES the darkness- we will overcome it with His light. “The night will shine like the day.”

If you’re feeling darkness looming, call out to Him this morning. Lean in- even if you don’t “feel” Him with you, He is- He will hold you up. As He does, the joy comes.❤️
