“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

When we decide to trust God through our trials, it leads us ultimately to HOPE (rather than hopelessness in our suffering).
We see we are on a roller coaster of problems and we are not sure the path it’s taking or where we are headed- if we are alone on it, it’s scary and uncertain. But if we tell God that we know He’s allowed us to be on this roller coaster and ask Him to stay with us to get us to safety on the roller coaster with Him, He will. And even though we are on it- and it’s still an uncertain path- our certainty of our trust in our Good Shepherd to protect, guide and provide for us overrides the fear of the unknown and the burden of self-sufficiency. Not only that, but His very Presence always leads to joy. So while we ride this thing out, unsure of the path or details, let’s proclaim our trust in Him to get us through and bring us joy and hope in the midst of the crazy.
